Conflict is inevitable in the workplace. To be effective in an organization, employees and leaders must be conflict competent.
The Conflict Dynamic Profile-Individual (CDP-I) or the Conflict Dynamic-360 (CDP-360) survey combined with a follow-up coaching session will enable participants to identify their current behaviors when dealing with conflict in the workplace. Conflict Workshop Objectives
Workshop participants will:
- Identify the 7 constructive responses to conflict.
- Identify the 8 destructive responses to conflict.
- Identify the 9 hot buttons (conflict triggers).
- Discuss participants’ constructive and destructive behaviors, and hot buttons.
- Practice new communication skills.
- Develop a personalized action plan.
- Discuss methods to implement the action plan.
Coaching Prerequisite
Participants must take the CDP-I or CDP-360 online survey one to two weeks prior to the coaching session.
Coaching Session
Approximately one to two weeks after participants complete the online assessment they will attend a half-day coaching session. This coaching session is designed to assist participants with interpreting the results of the CDP survey.
