MCS arrived at 1 pm Thursday and left at 9 am the next morning. We restored full computer operation and created a proactive IT maintenance task duty list shared by internal resources and MCS. We also implemented the Critical Maintenance Life Cycle to identify and head off future IT problems, perform strategic IT planning and maintain stability—based on complete understanding of the environment. Our program enabled internal resources to tackle and manage IT projects proactively, instead of constantly putting out fires.
